See first. Understand first. Win the objective.

Reconnaissance software, built by the people who use it.

ReconOS takes a reconnaissance element from observation to a commander-ready decision in one connected system — then hands TAK clean output. It runs entirely on the operator's own device: air-gapped, no cloud, no telemetry.

What we offer

Purpose-built reconnaissance software.

The status quo is a .txt file on a laptop and a Rite-in-the-Rain notebook. ReconOS replaces both — and beats them in every way.

ReconOS is one connected system built for reconnaissance work: mission setup, collection, imagery, reporting, and geospatial products in a single environment instead of scattered notes and disconnected apps. It moves a team faster from observation to decision, and it delivers TAK-ready output the moment it matters.

The status quo

Scattered notes. Disconnected apps.

  • A .txt file, a notebook, and half a dozen apps that were never built to talk.
  • The picture is retyped and rebuilt from scratch with every update.
  • Reporting is slow, manual, and inconsistent under pressure.
ReconOS

One connected, offline system.

  • Setup, collection, imagery, and reporting live in one place and stay linked.
  • The picture is maintained continuously, carried forward, not rebuilt.
  • Faster from observation to decision, with TAK-ready output built in.
Who we are

SKOPEŌ — to observe with purpose.

SKOPEŌ is an operator-built company. The name is Greek — skopeō, "to observe with purpose" — and it sets the standard we build to.

We are built by and for the reconnaissance community, grounded in real reconnaissance experience. ReconOS is our flagship product: serious software for teams whose job is to see first and understand first.

See. Understand. Win.
Our mission

We build advanced technology — and are bringing AI to the operator level — to change how reconnaissance is done and give the operator the edge to win. ReconOS is designed to put serious capability in the hands of the people on the objective, on their own device, on their own terms.

Mission

Put advanced reconnaissance technology directly in the operator's hands — built by operators, for operators.

Purpose

Change how reconnaissance is done, so the element that sees first and understands first wins the objective.

Direction

We are bringing AI down to the operator level — the direction we are taking the platform, on the roadmap, not a capability that ships today.

The problem

What impedes warfighters on the objective.

The element that understands first wins. Today's tooling works against that — the picture resets, the answer arrives late, and nothing talks to anything else.

  • The picture resets

Every update rebuilds the operational picture from scratch instead of carrying it forward, so the team keeps re-establishing what it already knew.

  • Answers arrive late

Critical information shows up late or buried across products. By the time it reaches a decision-maker, the moment it mattered has often passed.

  • Tools don't talk

Setup, collection, imagery, and reporting live in separate tools that were never built to work together — constant re-entry, constant hand-offs.

  • Analog doesn't scale

Notebooks and loose files hold up in the classroom, not under contact. The workflow breaks exactly when the tempo is highest.

How ReconOS solves it

Outcomes, not overhead.

ReconOS is designed around how reconnaissance actually works — so the advantage goes to the team that sees first and understands first.

Maintain the picture, continuously.

Never stop seeing

Collection, observations, imagery, and reports stay connected from planning through execution. The operational picture is carried forward, not rebuilt after every update — so the team keeps what it already knows.

Report information rapidly & accurately.

Move information fast

Standardized reporting and less repetitive entry move observations from the point of collection to the decision-maker while they still matter — and out to TAK, clean, when it counts.

Develop the situation first.

Win the first fifteen seconds

ReconOS shortens the path from raw observation to usable understanding, so a team can read the objective and act before the opportunity closes. The element that understands first wins.

Orient on the objective.

Answer what matters

Observations, requirements, and reporting triggers stay tied to the reconnaissance objective — so effort goes to answering the commander's questions, not just collecting more.

See first. Understand first. Win the objective.

Product depth is reserved for private demonstrations. Demonstrations and pilot programs are available to qualified reconnaissance elements.

One platform

Consolidated recon.

ReconOS brings mission planning, collection management, imagery, reporting, geospatial products, and operational assessment into one environment built for reconnaissance teams.

See continuously. Report rapidly. Develop the situation. Win the objective.
Off the grid

Nothing leaves the device.

ReconOS runs fully air-gapped — no cloud, no telemetry, no data leaves the device. It deploys to the operator's own hardware and is licensed simply, so a unit stands it up on its own terms and keeps mission data under its own control from start to finish.

Runs air-gapped

No cloud, no telemetry, no account, no call home. The way it is built — not a setting to switch on.

No data leaves the device

Mission data stays on the operator's own hardware, under the operator's control, start to finish.

Deploys to the operator's device

ReconOS installs to the operator's own hardware — no dependency on a network the element may not have.

Simple to license

Licensed per seat and activated with a signed license file, so a unit can stand it up on its own terms.

Editions

Three ways to field ReconOS.

Evaluate it with your element, license the full platform per seat, or have it tailored to how your unit actually operates. ReconOS can be custom-tailored to customer needs.

Pilot

Evaluate with your element.

Put ReconOS in front of your team and prove it against real reconnaissance work before you commit.

What's included
  • The full platform for the duration of the pilot.
  • Offline deployment to your own hardware.
  • Hands-on support through the evaluation.

Scope Time-boxed evaluation term, a limited number of seats, and updates gated to the pilot build. Contact us to scope it.

Full access

The complete platform.

The entire platform, licensed per seat, deployed to the operator's own hardware and kept current.

What's included
  • All current capabilities of ReconOS.
  • Ongoing updates to the platform.
  • Offline, air-gapped deployment to your own hardware.
  • Signed, per-seat activation.

Scope The standard configuration of the platform — deeper customization is the Custom Solution. Contact us for a quote.

Custom solution

Tailored to your unit.

Shaped to how your unit actually operates — the platform, adapted to your mission, not the other way around.

What's included
  • Custom features and workflows.
  • Integrations scoped to your environment.
  • Deployment shaped to the customer's needs.

Scope Scoped per engagement and delivered by agreement. Talk to us about what you need.

No public price list. Seats and terms are scoped to the engagement — contact us for a quote or to scope it.

Roadmap

Where we are — and where we are taking it.

What ships today is an operator-built, air-gapped reconnaissance platform. The direction is to bring AI down to the operator level. Here is the honest sequence.

Now Ships today

The offline reconnaissance platform.

  • Mission setup, collection & observations.
  • Imagery and reporting, including BORIS.
  • GRG + mapping; KML / WinTAK CoT export.
  • Site assessment and a rule-based threat estimate.
  • Operator-built and fully air-gapped — nothing leaves the device.
~6 months Planned — next

Deepen and harden.

  • Deeper integrations with the tools teams already use.
  • Expanded reporting and export formats.
  • Hardening and packaging for the field.
  • Pilot programs with reconnaissance elements.
~12 months Roadmap — aspirational

AI at the operator level.

  • Offline equipment recognition, designed to run on the device.
  • Decision support to speed observation-to-understanding.
  • Broader analytics for the reconnaissance picture.
  • Not a current capability — this is the direction, not what ships today.

Roadmap items are planned direction, not commitments. Today the threat estimate is rule-based, not machine learning; AI at the operator level is where we are taking the platform.

Bottom line up front.

We would rather under-claim than oversell. Here is exactly where the lines are.

The threat estimate is rule-based, not machine learning. ReconOS produces TAK-ready output; it complements ATAK and WinTAK, it does not replace them — it does the work that comes before the map. No claim of government endorsement, certification, ATO, or fielding.
