Built around the operator.
Field-first design, evidence traceability, TAK-compatible export, and a disconnected-operations objective — what ReconOS is built to do, stated honestly.
Clear mission progression
A rail and assistant always answer "what should I do next?" — order is obvious without being forced.
Enter once, reuse everywhere
One mission record removes the re-typing that turns operators into part-time clerks.
Evidence stays attached
Every finding and report line references the image or observation behind it.
Operator-controlled validation
AI assists; the operator confirms, corrects or rejects. Nothing is promoted to "fact" automatically.
Fast product generation
Hours of formatting collapse into a guided review — the packet is a by-product of the work.
Readable under stress
High-contrast, daylight-legible screens with status you can read at a glance, not buried in menus.
Human review before export
A readiness check and acknowledge step stand between the work and what leaves your hands.
Built toward disconnected use
A local-first record and on-device products — designed for environments where the cloud isn't an option.
TAK-compatible export.
ReconOS complements your tactical picture rather than replacing it. Mission products move out as TAK-compatible packages your team can pull into the environment they already use.
ReconOS mission data
Validated findings, the GRG and overlays on one record.
GRG / mission product
An evidence-linked graphic and report set.
Export package
TAK-compatible KML / Cursor-on-Target data package.
TAK environment
Pulled into the shared picture your element already runs.
What this is, precisely: a TAK-compatible export workflow. A ReconOS-generated GRG has been transferred into ATAK in demonstration. ReconOS does not claim an accredited or certified live TAK integration.
Designed for the environments where the cloud is not an option.
Offline and air-gapped operation is a core design objective. We are deliberate about what works today, what is being packaged, and what is still under development — and we don't blur the lines.
The mission record & products
- Local-first mission data in the demonstration build.
- Report, GRG and packet generation without a network.
- A deterministic demo workflow that runs end-to-end.
Ruggedized Windows deployment
- Self-contained install for offline ruggedized tablets.
- Air-gapped configuration and update handling.
- Separation of demonstration data from operational use.
On-device inference & sync
- Local AI inference for exploitation (architecture seam in place).
- Server-side multi-mission persistence.
- Access control, audit logging and signing for fielded use.
